| Description: |
The LLCT2 is the second part of the Late Latin Charter Treebank (LLCT). It contains 257 918 tokens from 521 early medieval Latin original documents (cartulae ‘charters’) written in Tuscany, Italy, between AD 774 and 897. The LLCT2 charters were written by professional notaries to record private transactions, such as selling, exchanging, and renting out property, and their Latin represents an intermediate variety betwen Classical Latin and modern Romance languages. This version of the treebank uses the Universal Dependencies annotation framework, obtained from the original treebank in the style of the Prague Dependency Treebank by means of an automated conversion process. |
